# Getting Started
After reading the entire guide, you can expect to have answers to the following questions:
- What is a Micro Niche Site?
- How do I find my niches?
- How do I run multiple analysis?
- How do I improve my Keyword Research Game?
- How do I build my own micro niche site?
- How do I draft content for my micro niche sites?
- How do I create on-site SEO & structuring of my content?
- How do I build niche sites that will rank?
- How do I make my site more appealing by drafting a story?
- Micro niche outline infographics for better visual aid.
The aim of this blog post is to educate you on how to get started with niche
sites and build a passive income regardless of the niche.
Most guides found on the internet talk about targeting only long tail
This guide has a different approach.
A method that involves targeting medium tail keyword or commercial intent keywords (buyer's intended keyword).
One question you might have in mind: "Why are we not targeting long tail keywords?"
Let me answer that for you:
Instead of targeting long tail keywords, I would draft LSI rich articles.
Here are the initial targets I'm aiming from this niche site:
- Try and rank for the primary keyword along with several related LSI keywords.
- Make around $2000/month.
In case you have any questions regarding Google Penalty, let me explain:
No one can guarantee when it comes to Google, but I have enough sites to tell you that my method has always worked, and none of my sites have ever gotten penalized.
I've always tried to keep the quality of all my sites very high.
Also, do not expect these micro niche sites to rank instantly.
It could be anywhere between three to six months before you start seeing them on Page One. (That too if you have a ROCK SOLID Offline SEO strategy).
# Finding A Profitable Niche & Analyzing it
Before we talk about the profitable niches, let me explain to you the concept of a micro niche site...
Micro Niche Sites are small sites that consist of in-depth information about a particular product or a bunch of products in the same niche.
Here is a nice example:
"Best Printer 2017"
You'll be making a list of all the printers by carefully reviewing them and then writing a detailed article about those products.
Sound easy enough?
Getting Started with Your Niche.
In this case study, I will build an Amazon micro niche site.
As a side note: The method works well for finding any niche. Developing a site with my
recommended layout will remain the same as well.
If you don't want to build an Amazon site, then you can go ahead pick any affiliate network of your choice.
Let's dig deeper and understand how!
Two of my most favorite methods:
1) Using Amazon's Category Page
Head over to Amazon's Category Page.
Amazon's Category Page is a Goldmine that contains a list of all the possible categories that exist on the planet.
Here is the direct link: http://www.amazon.in/gp/site-directory/
If you wish to scout the link yourself, then look at the screenshot above and click on the Category.
Pick one of the categories from the list.
Pro Tip: Pick a niche that you love because when you draft content, you will enjoy writing.
I'm a Geek 🤓, and I love Computer & Accessories! 😀
In this case study:
I'll build a site around the computer and accessories niche...
You might be saying: But but but you said we would be finding a profitable niche!
That’s correct… Computers!
According to [StatisticBrain](http://www.statisticbrain.com/computer-sales-statistics/" target="_blank) around 273 billion dollars’ worth of computers were sold.
So far, everything looks good.
Let's keep researching further to understand whether or not we are on a right path.
In our first case study:
I'll pick hard disks for in-depth research:
Amazon, by default, doesn't show the number of products they have sold.
But using this small hack, you can estimate a rough number of sales and be assured a certain number of sales.
Count the number of reviews a product has (Not all buyers leave a review.)
If you are good at math, then you might have figured out the number.
if you are not good at math, then let me run the numbers for you...
If you add the total number of reviews from Seagate, Lenovo, and Western Digital, you'll see the total number of reviews received is 18,348, and the minimum assured revenue generated just from those three products are:
- Seagate Backup Plus Slim: INR. 49,060,188.
- Lenovo 1TB External Hard Drive: INR. 1,504,950.
- WD Elements 1TB USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Drive: INR. 26,451,804.
Total Sales: INR. 77,016,942
By the way, the above figures are the total number of sales based on the number of reviews left. The final numbers must be a lot higher.
With the above calculation, if you refer that many potential customers:
You and I are talking about an affiliation commission of around INR.
1,925,423.55 (At 2.5% Commission)
That's a BIG GIANT SEVEN FIGURE. Crazy money in India if you want to live a King-Sized Life :)
Again, these figures are just estimations to help you understand how to find a profitable niche and sub-niche for your micro niche sites.
Another way to understand the profitability of the niche is to look at the affiliation commission Amazon is offering.
If you are passionate about luxury products, then the 10% commission is pretty high.
Pro Tip: When you refer someone from your site to Amazon, and if your referral buys some other product, you'll receive the commission for the purchased product.
# Buyers Keyword and Understanding the Mindset
What are Buyer Intent Keywords?
Most people who are not generating enough sales from their sites are targeting wrong keywords.
Instead of focusing on Buyer Intent Keywords, they focus on keywords that will generate traffic...
…or in simpler words, they don't understand the importance of Buyer Intent Keywords.
Researching keywords for micro niche sites is a lot different than keyword research for your blog post.
It's important to work on keywords that will generate buyer's traffic and not mass traffic.
Here is something that happened to me several years ago:
When I was working on my first micro niche site (I think I made my first micro niche site around eight years ago when I was still trying to understand the term SEO), I completely ignored the fact that there is something known as Buyer Intent Keywords. All I cared about was...
TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC... ...and more TRAFFIC!
So, instead of working on a keyword like “buy + [product name]”, I would work on keywords like “[product name]”...
Even though I was receiving thousands of unique visitors a month, I was barely making $300-400/m.
Please understand that working on product keywords is fantastic, but that won't assure you a sale because people are in the researching phase.
It got me high search volume, but not sales...
Also, 99.99% of the time, the “[product name] keyword” will be dominated by the company who owns the product.
I've made several such mistakes, and that's when I realized the importance Buyer Intent Keywords.
To rephrase, working on the RIGHT SET of keywords for the right purpose, I started researching more and spent some time [understanding the mindset of the buyers](http://marketingland.com/tapping-buyers-brain-psychology-driven-marketing-134923" target="_blank)
It's important to work on getting the right traffic to your site.
If uditgoenka.com starts receiving traffic for someone looking for recipes, then something's terribly wrong.
Similarly, if someone is looking to purchase, it's important to understand what and how they will search!
To make it very simple, stop thinking like a marketer or Search Engine Optimizer (I know it's hard to do that, give it a try and if you succeed, leave a comment below and I will send you a surprise).
I'm sure you'll agree when I say:
If you are looking to buy a laptop, you will probably search with terms like:
- buy cheap laptop
- best laptops available for cheap
- best laptops
- buy laptop
…or if you are looking to review before purchasing, you will search something like this:
- best laptop reviews
- Which Laptop should I buy (These are Question Intended Keywords, and we will cover them in the FAQ section of Content Writing to Drive Traffic)
Above are just some of the examples out of multiple combinations of buyer intent keywords.
With this, I hope you will have a better understanding of the importance of Buyer Intent Keywords. If you are still struggling, then drop me an email and I will happily help you out!
A Buyer Intent Keyword is a keyword used by potential buyers to buy a certain product.
Here are some good examples of Buyer Intent Keywords:
- best [keyword]
- best [product]
- cheap [keyword]
- cheap [product name]
- [product name] discounts
- [product name] review
- buy [keyword]
- buy [product name]
- buy [product name] online
- coupon code for [product name]
- [product name] coupon code
# Doing the Keyword Research using the Keywordly Technique
Understanding the mindset of the customers is very important...
…because it will help you draft your content better, and the user can include several combinations of those terms in your blog posts to rank for related Buyer Intent Keywords possibly.
How does that help?
It's a quick growth hacking strategy based on semantic indexing that can help you rank for multiple terms on the same PowerPage.
When you talk about keyword research for micro niche sites, you first need to understand the different category of keyword research for micro niche sites.
I'm going to list how to research keywords for buyers in four easy steps:
Step One - Product Type Keywords
Product Type Keywords are keywords that are used by people before purchasing any
product that focuses typically on brands.
Remember I was talking about these keywords in the last section?
Well, while it's true that one should research these kinds of keywords, they shouldn't be your primary keywords.
What are your chances of ranking for keywords like "Canon" or "Canon Camera"?
Here is another example:
Can you possibly rank for the term "Samsung" or "Samsung Monitors"?
The search volumes are crazy, but that doesn't mean the people searching will buy the product right away because they are in the initial phase of the buying cycle.
…but these keywords are the perfect start because you can make a list of brand related products or services.
Here is what I would do:
If I want to target a specific branded product, I will list the product and product names with the formula:
- [Brand] + [Niche]
- [Product Name] + [Niche]
Here are few examples of the above formula:
- Samsung mobile phones (“Samsung” is the brand term, while “mobile phones” is a niche.)
- Samsung S8 mobile phones (“Samsung S8” is the product name, while “mobile phones” is the niche.)
P.S. I am huge iPhone fan, but used the example of Samsung. Just making an honest confession!
Here is a complete list of formulas for Product Type Keywords:
- [Brand] + [Product Name]
- [Product Name]
- [Brand] + [Services]
- [Product] + [Guide]
If you got Step One cleared up, then move to Step two or reread Step One as it's important to understand the buyer's cycle.
Step Two - Informative Type Keywords
Informative Type Keywords are those keywords that help you get information about the product.
Immediately after getting to know the product name, the buyers tend to start researching more details about the product.
To keep it short:
They are looking for additional information about the keywords. In such a case, if you are working on an informative blog post (pretty much the entire world of tech blogs)...
…these Keywords will help you get some sales, but not many. This opens a window of opportunity for you to reach through if you are new to the industry and don't want to compete with the giants yet.
Ideally, look for keywords that are low competition and have a good search volume.
I call these type of keywords my Tier 2 Keywords that help me drive traffic and make sales for my primary money page.
Here is a complete list of formulas for Informative Type Keywords:
- [how to]
- [looking for]
- [how is]
- [details for]
- [details about]
- [best way to]
- [ways to]
- [Is it Possible]
- [compare] + [brand]
- [brand] + vs + [brand]
- [is] + [brand] + [Worth it]
Here is a good example for each of the above-mentioned formulas:
- how to do keyword research
- looking for popular SEO blogs
- how is Ahrefs
- details for Ghost CMS
- details about SEO
- best way to rank a website
- ways to make money
- compare SEO tools
- Is it possible to rank in one week
- Ahrefs vs SEMrush
- is Ahrefs worth it?
As a side note: I am a huge fan of Ahrefs. If you haven't signed up yet, then please
If you got step one and step two sorted out, then move forward to step three (one of the most crucial steps).
Step Three - Traffic Driving Type Keywords
Traffic Driving Type Keywords are those that can bring you instant traffic.
Don't believe me? Try writing a blog post where you are providing Free WordPress Plugin (That's not available on WordPress Store...)
…and watch how your site will overflow with free traffic.
They will likely not convert, or the conversion rate will be terrible.
Regardless, you can use these keywords to drive traffic to your micro niche site intelligently and then push them towards other relevant pages on your site to drive traffic.
Alternatively, if you are looking to make money through Adsense on your micro niche sites, then these are the perfect keywords for you.
Here is a complete list of formulas for Traffic Driving Type Keywords:
- Free + [Product]
- Download + [Product]
- Free + Download + [Product]
- [Product] + for free
If you are one of the Adsense people, then the above information can be real gold for you where you can produce tons of "High-Quality" blog posts and generate millions of Page Views to make a decent $1000/m+ on pure autopilot.
Step Four - The Buy Now Type Keywords
Buy Now Type Keywords are buyer-ready keywords. These are the most competitive keywords too.
...because, by now, the person has already researched, found guides, and has looked for free alternatives.
But guess what?
He didn't find any free alternative, so he has started looking for buying options.
Did I say buying?
That means money, tons of money, for you on the table! (A LOT OF MONEY!)
...Ok, so I will cut my stupid sense of humor out of the way (I'm addicted to cracking stupid one liners when I write)...
Here is a complete list of formulas for Traffic Buy Now Type Keywords:
- buy + [product]
- discount + [product]
- [product] + discount
- [product] + sale
- [product] + offers
- available deals/Offers on [product]
- [product] + coupon + codes
- coupon for + [product]
The above are buyer-ready formulas—ones that will convert like crazy!
Here is a good example for each of the formulas as mentioned earlier:
- Buy Shared Hosting
- discount PowerUpHosting
- Samsung monitor discount
- Samsung monitor sale
- iPhone Offers
- available deals on iPhone
- intel i7 coupon codes
- coupon code for Bose Headphones
Ranking them won't be easy because, just like you, most sites are looking to rank for the same formula of keyword combinations.
Because even they know that it will convert CRAZILY!
If you are up for the challenge, grab these keywords, and start minting money.
...but wait, if you still want to rank and make money, then read my step five.
Step Five - Growth Ranking Type Keywords
Growth Ranking Type Keywords are keywords that involve information, as well as a very high to make sales (as good as the Buy Now type keyword).
Growth Ranking Keywords can easily penetrate into your micro niche strategy (This is my favorite set of keywords because it works very well for me regarding ranking and conversion.)
…Ok, Udit, please just tell me the formula...
I know that's exactly what is on your mind.
I present to you: The Growth Ranking Keywords:
Ok... No more teasing (or else I know you will scroll away)!
Here is a complete list of formulas for Growth Ranking Type Keywords:
Here is a good example for each of the formulas mentioned above:
- Best Keyword
- Top 10 Monitor
- Logitech c922 review
- cheap Logitech mouse
- cheap TV
- affordable Sony TV
- Affordable Hosting
I am highly recommending that you go with the Growth Ranking Type Keywords.
After building hundreds of micro niche sites over the last several years, what I found so far is, not only did Growth Ranking Type Keywords rank better, but they also converted very well.
I'll talk about how to make them in the later part of this guide, so please make sure to bookmark this guide and read several points again and again...
If you can master these five steps (make this your Go-To Guide), then I can assure you, in just one year, you can make over $25,000 from one site.
I don't believe in making $10 per month per site and building 1,000 such sites. I believe in making one site that will generate $10,000/m.
I have many such web properties doing heavy 3-5 figures per month...
If I can do it, so can you :)
# Analyzing the Competition for the niche & keyword the right way
One of the biggest challenge after picking your keyword is working towards the next step!
The next step is to analyze and see whether I have the REQUIRED resources to rank for the term and make money.
While analyzing the sites can be extremely challenging, several tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and SpyFU can be real handy.
I'll use Ahrefs for my analysis.
…But before I proceed further, let's make this fun. I don't want to just prove a theory, or neither I believed in theories.
I'm a practical person with a practical approach to real stuff.
To take this case study to a whole new level, I took a chance in the game—something that no one has ever done, and won't be comfortable doing—and I’m showing my strategy.
…But I love sharing!
Wondering what I did to take things to a whole level?
The title is about building the Evergreen Micro Niche Site Guide. How can I complete this guide without actually showing you the actual micro niche site?
...Wait for it!
No, the site name is not Legendary...
…But the micro niche site I have created is indeed legendary...
Yes! It's the awesome 10Radar...
I know I took a bit longer to announce the name...
Every good thing takes time :)
And before you dig deeper into the micro niche site creation along with me, it was crucial for you to understand the importance of:
- Picking up your niche
- Keyword research
- Commercial intent concept
- How a buyer thinks
A strong foundation can help you create multiple Win-Win projects.
Here is the glimpse of the entire site:
As I have revealed the site, let's understand the first basic rule of how to analyze your competitor's website, keywords, difficulty structure, and a lot
In this case:
I am going to pick up the very first blog post of 10Radar which is a [post on Best Backpacks](https://10radar.com/best-backpacks/" target="_blank)
Targeted Keyword: Best Backpacks
Here are the current Google results for the term “Best Backpacks”:
Google is currently ranking BuzzFeed for that keyword (if you ignore the
Now, as you can see, I have been tracking that keyword manually for quite some time (from the time I started working on 10Radar.com).
As you can see, they recently moved to Position #1, which means I have a good chance to move. But I will go ahead and find out the metrics for the Top 10 sites.
If you look at the screenshot, you will be able to see that reaching Page #1 is not very difficult.
At the moment, my sole purpose is to see what the possibilities are to get on Page #1 in a short period and that last result gave me some hope.
Even the Domain Authority and Page Authority are not that great.
I went ahead and checked the quality of the content, and it wasn't amazing.
That gave me hope for this keyword because the monthly searches for this buyers’ keyword is roughly around 33,100/month.
It's time to dig deeper and understand what kind of backlinks www.cleverhiker.com has...
To spy on your competitor's backlink, you only need one tool—Ahrefs!
He has a good number of Referring Domains, and he is receiving over 126k monthly traffic, which is a huge reason to further spy on his niche! 😎
Another important point to notice:
The number of Organic Keywords he has on Google. That will give you a good idea of the kind of silo pages or affiliate blog posts he is making. You can rinse 'n' repeat.
Here is his one of the most important stats—his Referring Domains Stats:
He has around 239 DoFollow Links...
…with the following Anchor Text Cloud
One thing you will notice is that he has built most of his links on his brand URL which got him some very good DoFollow links.
In short, the keyword is not at all difficult to rank but would require a good number of high metrics DoFollow backlinks.
For comprehensive competitor analysis, I am soon publishing a guide. Click here to sign up for my newsletter and be the first one to get the notification!
# Finalizing the First Keyword for your Niche Sites (First Blog Post)
After the fun of doing all kinds of crazy data analysis is over...
...it's time to finalize everything before proceeding with domain, site creation, hosting, setting up plugins, etc.
Based on all the above information, I will recommend you to go with Growth Ranking Type keywords.
…Not only will they rank better, but they will fetch you a lot of sales, which is ideally what will make you money!🤑
In my case:
I'll continue talking about my first article that was written and published on 10radar.com about backpacks.
- Keyword finalized: Best Backpack
- Competitive: Medium
- Growth Ranking Type Keyword combination: Best + [niche]
Before moving forward, I want to discuss several LSI keywords as well. But, before getting into the LSI keywords, let's look at supporting medium tail keyword.
If you can see the screenshot above, you will notice that we have a good range of keywords to pick from. Since it's 2017, I certainly want to pick that along with travel, college, and work…
…because most of the time, backpacks are purchased for the purposes mentioned above.
Medium Tail Keyword finalized:
- Best Backpacks for Travel
- Best Backpacks for College
- Best Backpacks for Work
- Best Backpacks 2017
I will discuss the LSI keywords, but I will keep that for the later part of this section which is specially dedicated to LSI Keywords and using them intelligently with FAQs.
# Getting Started with Domain Research
One of the biggest challenges after completing your research is to look for the
perfect domain name.
…Domain names matter big time, depending on how much you want to scale up.
…But there are several challenges when it comes to picking up the right domain name for your micro niche site.
I have divided them into five subcategories.
- Partial Match Domain
- Exact Match Domain
- Expired Domain
- Auction Domain
- Branded Domain
Picking up the right domain for your project can fetch you a lot more money in the long run.
…But every single category has got its own pros and cons...
Keep reading, and I will help you make the best decision if you are building your micro niche for the first time…
…or if you have built one in the past that didn’t convert well. If that’s the case, the following section will be crucial.
Exact Match Domain
What is Exact Match Domain?
Exact Match Domains, a.k.a. EMDs (the popularly known term), in the industry, is the exact matching terms of your primary keywords.
To give you an example:
In this micro niche site example, we used 10radar that I specially built as a part of my case study.
I decided to use the first post as an
example to demonstrate everything.
My primary keywords are “best backpacks”. Ideally, if I were to focus on building a niche site on only backpacks, then I would look for bestbackpacks.com
- Exact Match Domains helps you to rank a lot faster.
- Easily Brandable & Sellable.
- Easy to Remember
- You are restricted with your micro niche. (I cannot write anything on the backpack site apart from backpack)
- You cannot scale up.
EMDs are great if you are looking to make a micro niche site that will generate around $500-1000 per month, and later you can flip them for $12,000 to $15,000!
Partial Match Domain
What is Partial Match Domain?
Partial Match Domains are domains that are closely related to your primary keyword. Also, popularly known as PMDs, they are often used if you are looking to target a specific category or a niche instead of a micro niche.
Here is a quick example:
I will once again take the backpacks article as an example.
If you look at the above screenshot, you will notice that I have marked Amazon's breadcrumbs that will give you a lot of fantastic ideas when it comes to getting a Partial Match Domain...
Something similar to backpacks & bags... A combination of both can be used if you don't have the EMD available.
For example: backpacksandbags.com
It's not the keyword that we are targeting as my primary keyword is best backpacks, but the domain name still covers every single backpack listing or sub-pages that I will create.
In which case, PMD can be a great option.
- Can help you cover more sub-category
- Help you generate more revenue
- Broad and Brandable Domain Name
- Can be sold very easily
- Tied up with that niche. (You cannot write about some other niche)
- A limited number of products.
What are Expired Domains?
Expired Domains are those domains that have been dropped by the previous owner and now available for anyone to register.
Let's understand the pros and cons for them.
- Has a history with Google
- Could potentially have a good backlink profile
- A good (Potential) backlink profile.
- Less investment in off-page SEO
- Could get expensive.
- Researching for one takes a long time.
- Need tools to scrape the expired domains.
- Could find a lot of mix profiles (Finding the perfect one is tough)
- EXTREMELY difficult to find the name that matches the niche.
- Time Consuming
What are Auction Domains?
Auction Domains are domains that have already dropped, but are now available in public marketplace for auction. If no one purchases the domain, it expires.
Auction domains are fantastic and have several perks over expired domains.
Let's look into the Pros and Cons for the both:
- You can get one of the best domains possible available.
- The best and cleanest metrics.
- Could land branded keywords and branded URLs
- Auction Domains are hugely popular, hence getting good names won't be cheap.
To be more precise, a good domain often averages around $400-600 on auction.
- It can take time for the auction to close. That can delay your campaign
unless you are planning accordingly.
Branded Domains are domains that are primarily targeted towards building up a company or a small venture under that name.
Branded Domains have a massive list of advantages over the above options.
- You can build a company or a DBA around the name.
- You can work on-target any number of niches under the same brand.
- You can easily do five figures per month.
- You get the flexibility to pick any name you want.
- The domain name is not exact or Partial Match in most cases.
- Not a great SEO benefit when compared to the EMD.
In my case, I am planning to work on over fifty high-quality articles on my micro niche case study site.
That will take a few months, but to begin with, I have five articles already published, while two articles are being edited (and will be getting published very soon).
The moment I saw 10radar.com was available, I grabbed the domain right away!
I thought that domain was unique, but apparently, it wasn't. It was a dropped domain. In short, an expired domain.
…Though the number of backlinks was not many, the link profile was pretty clean. I landed a mini goldmine :)
It's a rare situation, but it can happen!
If you are set with keywords and domains, it is time to move on and start shaping everything...
# Picking Up your Hosting
One of the biggest challenges that most customers face is going with the right hosting company.
I will confess and make full disclosure that, if you haven't read my Bio Description or About Us page, I'm the CEO & Co-Founder of, Inc. PUH is an ISP and a hosting company based out of Los Angeles.
Instead of recommending some other company, I would recommend you to go with the SSD Shared Hosting plan that will fit perfectly for your project.
Also, if you love my content, and if it's helping you make money, then I appreciate any support by utilizing hosting from my company and if possible [leave a review by dropping a simple tweet](https://poweruphosting.com" target="_blank), Inc.
...But if you are starting out, then here is a quick video on how to set up your WordPress site with Power Up Hosting once you have purchased your shared hosting account.
# Setting Up The Site (Theme Setup, Plugins & Installation)
Once you are done installing WordPress, let's take a deeper look into what to do next in the Basic Setup and Installation:
- Getting the correct theme for your micro niche site
- List of all the plugins required for your micro niche site
- The installation & customization process of each plugin
- Preparing the content for your finalized Primary Keywords
I'll be covering the settings for all the plugins in the next section. Along with some high-end customization. Keep reading...
Here is the list of plugins that I am currently using for the micro niche site blog, a.k.a. 10Radar.com (I'll get to the settings part later on.)
- CF Post Formats
- Contact Form 7
- Content Locker - Pro
- Leadspring Link Fixer
- MyThemeShop Theme/Plugin Updater
- Ninja Facebook Messenger
- SEOPressor Connect
- Shortcodes Ultimate
- Table of Contents Plus
- WP Force SSL
- WP Review Pro
- WP Subscribe Pro
- WP Tab Widget
Yup! That's a total of nineteen plugins. All the plugins are linked out to the respective links so that you can download all of them.
Along with the above themes, setup, and plugins, I'm also using Cloudflare to aid the speed and minimization of the static files.
…And guess what…
Cloudflare does an amazing job. I prefer having and using Cloudflare over any other CDN providers because Cloudflare has a lot more to offer. For $20/month, for a single site, you can rest assured :)
Getting the Correct Theme for your Micro Niche Sites
Want to avoid one of the most common mistakes most site owners make?
They neglect the importance of loading speed.
They will either go with a free theme or will download a null theme to save money.
The irony is, you can't make money that way. Because those nulled themes are loaded with backdoors...
Also, your sites can easily get hacked when using the nulled theme.
That being said…
I highly recommend you to stick with these two companies for all your theme needs and requirements:
Both of them have focused on three essential criteria while building the theme.
- The codes are extremely optimized.
- The loading speed is insane. 10Radar.com is built on MyThemeShop (More
details will be shared soon at the later part of this guide.)
- They are very well optimized for SEO. 😱
I have decided to go ahead with the MyBlog Theme from MyThemeShop...
Why did I pick that theme?
Apart from the four reasons above, the design was incredibly good. Though the theme lacks a few desired features, being a designer and developer helps.
I went ahead and created a Child Theme with all kinds of customization.
Want to get a hold of the Child Theme and all the blog exported settings to help you aid your next micro niche site in just ten minutes? Purchase the MyBlog theme from the link here, and I will send you the Child Theme along with all the

# Setting Up The Sidebar
What is one of the most difficult parts of any blog or site?
…coming up with a kick-ass sidebar!
Isn't that sidebar gorgeous?
Let me explain each section!
In that section of 10Radar, I have a sleek sidebar option where I am asking users to opt-in to 10Radar and save money!
The next section will make you fall in love with the 10radar layout. It's a simple Photoshop theme that I created where I have a black layer on top of the featured image with the same title as our blog post.
Struggling to make one like the one I made? Download the Photoshop file from the direct link here.
Next is the Find Us On Facebook section. You have to ensure to your audience that you are 100% safe. One of the safest way to build that trust? To have your Facebook Page Like button.
Lastly, schemas can make or break your site's CTR. Sites with better structure and nicely coded schema tags tend to do a lot better on the SERPs.
MyThemeShop has got a schema sidebar built in that allows you to add the website, address, email, and opening hours in nicely structured schema tags.
As you can see, the score code on the above sidebar, all the necessary schema codes are already added. Make sure to Subscribe to my blog and [Join my Facebook group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/uditgoenka" target="_blank).
# Getting Started with the Contents
One of the toughest challenges, after doing all your research and setting up your website is coming up with high-quality content for your newly built micro niche sites.
Ideally, you have two options:
- Hire high-quality writers.
- Draft your own articles.
In any case, I am going to give you my exact blueprint with the outline format of each article that will help you to draft better articles before going in-depth for both of the above options.
# The Secret Sauce: Perfect Micro Niche Sites Blueprint
If you wish to use the infographics on your site, then use the code below, paste it into your text (HTML editor) and link it back to this article...
<a href="https://uditgoenka.com/blog/micro-niche-sites/"><img src="https://uditgoenka.com/blog/content/images/2017/06/micro-niche-sites-infographics.jpg">
1) Section One: Featured Image
Start your article with your preferred image, saved with your primary keyword's name. (I'll be covering the On-Page SEO guide very soon.)
Make sure your Featured Image is very appealing because that will help you with better conversion for your website.
Here is an example:
On top of that, I got these stock images for free. (Some are paid, but many good ones are free.) I will share my secret resources for getting 100% free stock images in the latter part of this guide.
2) Section Two: Adding a Heading < h1 > tag
While it's good to build a fantastic looking micro niche site...
…it's equally important to optimize for SEO purpose.
Having an < h1 > tag immediately after adding your featured image will help you in SEO aspect as well help your readers to understand and connect with the article.
3) Section Three: Introduction and Image
Now that you have done fantastic work with section one and section two, it's time to get to work on an amazing section three, which is writing a brilliant introduction.
To learn more about writing a stunning introduction and taking your blog post to
a new level, read my [SEO Copywriting guide](https://uditgoenka.com/blog/seo-copywriting/" target="_blank).
When you start with a good introduction for your blog post. Add the same featured image, but keep the size small and align to the right.
This way, your readers will have the same feel of continuity.
If section three is set up, you are already on the right path.
4) Section Four: Compare Product Table with Details
Whenever someone is looking to buy a product, one thing they always look for is the compare product table where they can analyze all the products.
Comparing all your products and making an attractive looking product table will help you take your article to a whole new level.
It will help you with the conversions massively.
Many of the previous sites that I have built have all landed on Google's Featured Snippet because of this table and have helped me convert significantly.
Since I cannot disclose those sites, I ended up making 10radar as a public case study to showcase how I build my micro niche sites.
5) Section Five: Writing About the Products
Now that we have built a fantastic initial structure, it's time to write content for the actual product.
This is the most vital section, and it's important to go as in-depth as possible to help your readers make the best decision.
The more in-depth your product review is, the better your chances are for converting your readers into a successful referral.
Wrap up the product name in the < h2 > title tag.
Write a killer introduction for the blog along with the photo of the product aligned on the right-hand side.
Here are some of the points you can write about:
You can add more sections and subcategories for each product to describe, and get as in-depth as possible.
Use my point as the base and then get creative!
6) Section Six: Writing the Pros & Cons
Do you think any product is perfect?
Even though I love Apple products, they have their list of flaws.
When you are recommending any product through your micro niche sites, make sure to let your users know about the pros and cons of the product because that will help them make a better decision.
That will lead to your biggest question...
How do you find the pros & cons?
Read the reviews of other buyers where they would have listed the pros and cons of the product. You don't need the product to review them, but you can certainly utilize other people's experiences, and use that as a base to come up with your own pros and cons.
Here is the perfect Pros & Cons layout for you:
If you have got section six checked off the list, then you are doing amazing so far, and you have written your first product review successfully!
Depending on the number of products you want to cover per blog post, scale up!
I prefer having a list of seven to twelve products because that helps me target a lot of products. At the same time it gives my readers good options and opportunities to read about all of them.
After you are done with all the product reviews, it's time to move to section seven!
7) Section Seven: FAQs
It's time to get smart...
…Wait, it's time to get smarter!
How do you get smarter with your micro niche sites?
…By implementing a FAQs section!
FAQs sections give you the ability to add a broad range of LSI and optional keywords that can help you take your article to a whole new level.
Also, it helps answer the user's question right away.
Keep a particular eye on your comments section, and if your users are asking questions there, then quickly move them to your FAQs section.
To make things special, have a FAQs for each of your products.
That leads to your next question: How do you get the questions when you are writing your blog post and product review initially.
Head back to Amazon or any other micro niche site that you are doing.
You'll find all the needed information for your article to review products on your blog.
Pro Tip: Do a simple Google search, look for YouTube comments or look for other sites and forums in the same niche.
8) Section Eight: Adding a Summary Table
Now that you have given your users all the necessary information, it's time for a summary.
Most users will not read the entire blog post or product reviews, and will quickly to jump to the conclusion.
In any case, you don't want to miss out on those readers either.
I have the perfect solution for you and your readers.
Here is the awesome looking Summary Table you can make on your micro niche site for your readers.
Adding the Summary Table is the perfect way to tackle the summary option at the end of the blog post. Also, if your reader is looking to purchase, he has the button to make the purchase. That will increase your conversion rate.
Pro Tip: Customize your table with the following columns: Product Name, Purpose, Size, Pricing. This works wonders. (It’s been thoroughly tested on various sites.)
# Use of Content LockersOne of the biggest challenges with micro niche sites is getting a natural social signal and backlinks.
You will rarely see people sharing your articles, no matter how in-depth the information you share is.
…But this is where you can get a little crafty if you know you are going to struggle with the backlinks and social signals.
The Social Content Lockers...
In case if you are wondering what Social Content Lockers are:
Social Content Lockers are lockers that hide the part of your article or information and won't be revealed until an action is taken.
That action can be:
- Sharing the article on Twitter
- Sharing the article on Google+
- Clicking the Like button
- Sharing the article on Facebook
- Or any other Social Action trigger
In return, you will reveal that part of the information.
This works all the time because we are curious human beings. If you try to hide something from someone, they will do anything to know what's been hidden.
Above is a screenshot of how a social content locker looks like!
They work all the time :)
Pro Tip: Come up with a curious title to generate higher number of shares
